As Family We Sing

Father, we praise you for our many chances:
The cross, narrow paths, favorable glances.

Life – Your treasure hunt, not one moment wasted.
Opportunity for charity; received, given, tasted.

Shown by You in the tender way You hold us.
Outward pourings, as Your Spirit now molds us.

You are the Potter we hold dear, we hold true.
Spiritually anointed our life, in You renewed.

A solemn and holy act Your life, given for ours.
Mercy conquered death in those few heavenly hours.

Women, children, and men turned art by Your hands.
Shame and guilt cleansed by the fruit of Your plans.

Sacred and gentle Master, oh, Shepherd, quite divine!
With who else but You could our hearts truly align?

Oh, to see You that bright and glorious day,
Is to finally put a face to our hearts true mate.

To forever partake of Your cup, oh mighty King!
Is what we do long for and as family we sing.
