Believe That He Had You at Belief!

Believe the fact that God will work all things in your life toward good. He plans you crowned; He plans you blessed. Continuing to question your salvation can get tedious. I found myself in that situation for a long time. Ignorance of God’s promises fueled my insecurities. Until one day, I grabbed hold of one of the many Scriptures that deal with belief. Specifically, that Christ would complete His work in me.

That says so much about our Savior. He will not lose any entrusted to Him. “He Had You at Belief,” is a gentle reminder that He’s got you covered. Yes, we may face trials, and we will suffer during our life, but nothing passes through to us that He is not aware of.

He Had You at Belief!

Oh, ye of little faith.
Why do you now so doubt?

I had you at belief,
As the Scriptures to you tout.

Hymn book opened to the song, Jesus loves me with partial song notes and words

Lay all your angst and fears
Now quietly to rest.
All plans for you are good.
My plans for you? Blessed.

My hand is always on you,
As is My net for you below.
There is no place,
There is no time,
You without Me now can go.

I will lead you forth.
Yes, I will lead you on.
I will chart your course,
If you ask and for Me long.

Seek My will with all your heart
And I will tell you true.
Though obstacles may come,
I will always get you through.

Rest and do reside
On these promises, oh so true.
For I was the First, I’ll be the Last
And now make home with you!
