Bounds Have Been Appointed

Often, we find that God
Stays His hand when we dream.
But don’t thou be discouraged
For things aren’t what they seem.

Fence line boundary

Our God gives certain bounds
That we ourselves can’t pass.
Our months, they are all numbered,
And our days, they are held fast.

That doesn’t mean give up,
But find the lesson there.
For when our eye’s on Christ,
The boundary is found fair.

Redeem now thy minutes,
Feed the Spirit, not thy flesh.
And soon you’ll find your time
Has been well used, and much blessed.
