Easter Poem- The Empty Tomb

In this Christian Easter poem, we have a major key into salvation. Jesus arose and conquered death. So, we have a sure hope for our own fate after death when we choose to follow Christ and make Him our Lord and Savior.

The Empty Tomb

He is not here,
He has arisen.
God’s plan revealed,
No longer hidden.

The steps played out
With perfect rhythm.
Christ’s time spent here,
A guide to living.

Death could not flaw
God’s provision.
So, pass it on,
Tell all to listen.

Jesus overcame,
Fulfilled His mission.
Prepare for Him
For indeed, He’s risen!

Scripture Reference:
Matthew 28:6 “He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”

Reflections:
Death no longer has the victory! In light of the resurrection, we can have hope for tomorrow as we focus on the bigger picture which has Christ at the center. As it is written Jesus goes to prepare a place for us, and each day the Holy Spirit moves our hearts closer to His. We are called to share the Good News. Let’s be excited and willing to do so.
