A Gift or Two For The King Of Kings

Gifts for The King of Kings

Jesus strides towards pain.
He doesn’t slink away.
Procrastination’s not His style,
Impossible, not His way.

He’s driven, He has motives,
(He sanctifies and heals.)
Though not the type to push and shove,
His urgency is real.

Don’t forget the orphan,
The widowed, sick, lost or old.
For much treasure lies within
These ones He wants to hold.

(Your name may be unknown,
It’s often how He works.
But the joy you’ll feel inside,
Is just one of many perks.)

His heart sees clearly.
With Him you’ll have no doubt.
He will guide you faithfully in
How to love within their drought.

So, if you’ve racked your brain,
(While shopping at the mall.)
His Word does plainly state
“For Me it is your all.”

There’s no time to waste.
The King awaits His gifts.
Love & restoration His promise.
Our all? Love, obey, give.

God’s IS Love. I hope I haven’t confused anyone. We cannot buy His love through gifts or works.

To accept Jesus in our hearts though is to make a choice. It’s a matter of Love, service, obedience and giving our all.
He has so much tenderness for us, and His Spirit can work mightily through us. He deserves more than just being thought of a few times a year. We should be continually seeking His will and being in prayer. Giving of ourselves to Him means giving our all for others.

John 15:12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command. 15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. 17 This is my command: Love each other.

But what if we are empty ourselves? I know for me; praise & thankfulness is often my path when I am low.

His Word says in Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
