God Gave Me His Stamp of Approval

God gave me His stamp of approval- through Jesus. (And in some aspects of my life it’s all coming together.) I live so many different lives, but they are similar in that they are all grounded in Christ. God’s been merciful to me in all areas of my life.

An important factor in approval is knowing. We are approved by God firstly through the acceptance of Christ. (Allowing Him to rule our lives.) Whether any of us accept Christ or not, God still knows us. He still loves us.

Oh, but to accept Christ and allow God to really know us, and reciprocate affection, is heavenly indeed.

Strong’s concordance has a word, (H3045) and it’s a primitive root; and means “To know”. Such a beautiful word, I can’t help but put it below in all its loveliness.

A primitive root; to know (properly to ascertain by seeing); used in a great variety of senses, figuratively, literally, euphemistically and inferentially (including observation, care, recognition; and causatively instruction, designation, punishment, etc.): – acknowledge, acquaintance (-ted with), advise, answer, appoint, assuredly, be aware, [un-] awares, can [-not], certainly, for a certainty, comprehend, consider, X could they, cunning, declare, be diligent, (can, cause to) discern, discover, endued with, familiar friend, famous, feel, can have, be [ig-] norant, instruct, kinsfolk, kinsman, (cause to, let, make) know, (come to give, have, take) knowledge, have [knowledge], (be, make, make to be, make self) known, + be learned, + lie by man, mark, perceive, privy to, X prognosticator, regard, have respect, skilful, shew, can (man of) skill, be sure, of a surety, teach, (can) tell, understand, have [understanding], X will be, wist, wit, wot.
Total KJV occurrences: 946

I want his “observation, care, recognition; and CAUSITIVELY, (His: {emphasis mine}) instruction, designation, punishment, etc.” Yes, Jesus took my punishment, but that doesn’t mean I don’t ever get chastised. God is good all the time, and all the time, God is good.

I’ve put some links in the poem below (purpose/plan) both go to the same article and discuss a little more about purposes/plans.

Stamp of Approval (God gave me His)

God has given me a purpose,
He has given me a plan.
A poet’s road I’m on,
And this is where I stand.

The Holy Spirit guides me,
Gives occasion for my rhyme.
Inspiration comes at will,
Morn, noon, and evening time.

The subjects, they are varied,
But what I write the most,
Is speaking of Lord Jesus,
And how He draws us close.

I’ve learned that I must write
All prompts that come to mind.
For if I do this faithfully,
A poem is soon designed.

I try not to force a poem,
But gently do I seek
A way to say the words
In my heart that want to speak.

I truly do believe
That all saints receive a gift.
To strengthen up Christ’s church,
And to other people lift.

woman with brown shoulder length hair wearing a white tshirt with a red block of print that says "you matter"
Do not deny its calling.
You’ll know that it’s His will.
For once God stamps approval,
He will bless and surely fill.

Scripture references:
1Peter 4:10-11 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
