“Heavenly Kin”

Often when we view from fear,
Our senses tell us, “He isn’t near!”

Now, don’t that thought
Any further mold;
Race from it,
Before it catches hold!

God is but a heartbeat away!
He would not desert you
To such earthly fray.

Trust in Him,
No matter come what may.
His will for you
Doesn’t turn you astray!

He ever beckons you closer in.
He is the song of your heart,
Your Heavenly Kin.

A life towards Him,
The one your soul has been craving.
Trials are only layers
On this golden road He is paving.

He is ever tender towards you!
It’s oft hard to see
From His point of view.

Look to His Word
With your eye fixed on Christ!
Beloved your life
Will soon be minus all strife!

Notes: Fear wants us to believe that God is not near. That is so far from the truth. He is in every moment at every time. That should bring such a relief to our souls shouldn’t it? When we take our gaze off of Christ, we tend to stumble, maybe even fall. That is why it is so important to keep God’s Word close and to keep our eyes on Jesus. Make it a point today to stop living in fear.

Isaiah 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts
