Jesus: Real, Relevant, Robust

Believe for a moment (if you don’t already) that all the above are true or have the slightest possibility of being true.

Webster’s new pocket dictionary defines real as:
1. actual; true
2. genuine

Webster’s new pocket dictionary defines relevant as:
-pertinent

As I see pertinent, it means “applicable to a particular matter.”

Now look at robust:
1. Strong and healthy; vigorous
-(of an object) sturdy in construction
-(of a process, system, organization, etc.) able to withstand or overcome adverse conditions

Jesus is the best of all those definitions.

Red Cross on a purple background with the words Jesus: Real, Relevant , Robust to the right of the cross

Jesus is Real:
– That would mean the Bible is true
– Jesus died on the cross for our sins and was resurrected three days later
– He and the Father are one (John 10:30)
– He will return
– There will be a day of judgment

Jesus is relevant:
– Because He is real. His presence applies to any particular matter in our life.
– And says in John 14:6 “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
– Yesterday, today and will be tomorrow.
– Even in today’s fast world

Jesus is Robust:
– I think of robust as it pertains to, say, a computer program, or process.
– In it’s most real definition- strong and healthy able to withstand or overcome adverse conditions., all-encompassing. (covering everything or everyone; comprehensive)

Do you see God as a Scientist?
A Mathematician?
A Doctor?
A Physicist?
A Father?

Do you see Jesus as a Savior/Redeemer?
A Miracle Worker?
Part of the Holy Trinity?

Do you see the Holy Spirit as a Comforter?
Teacher?
Intercessor?

I can’t think of anyone, more Real, Relevant, Robust than Jesus Christ.

God is love: Love is Real; love is Relevant; love is Robust.

1John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth now God; for God is love
1John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent His Son to be a propitiation for our sins.
2John 1:6 And this is love, that we walk after His commandments. This is the commandment, that, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

I see Jesus as all-powerful, unstoppable. Full of mercy, truth, hope, love, righteousness, holiness and so much more.- How do you see Him?

Even if there is only a .0000000000000000000000000..1 chance of Him being real, wouldn’t you want to be a part of something life changing?

In His service,

Kari
