Jesus bridges the gap
Between sin and God.

And oh, what a gap it is!
It was a fall
That affects us all,
Until we call ourselves His.

It is not too hard,
But oh, so easy,
To ask Him in,
To let Him be thee.

In all areas of your life,
You will see growth
And end of strife

Remember though as a caution,
Inward man is Spirit washed in,
And the outward points
To Jesus often.

Some, they try to limit Jesus.
Don’t they know He really sees us?
It is the soul that passes test,
More of us should this ingest.

You ask,
“Is there outward changing?”
That comes to pass,
He is arranging.

A heart that’s stead,
A heart held fast,
A heart that’s true,
A heart that lasts.

Where sin departs
And Spirit starts.
And towards Christ we live,
Set apart.

Scripture references:
Romans 3:23-26 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be appropriation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

What more can I say? Would it help to say that you are loved with a fierce and possessive love? We can not have a right relationship with God until we realize the extent of our own sins and how this separates us from Him. Because of our sin, we need a mediator and Christ is all of that and more. Today, let love win!
