Loving Arm
Because He cares,
He chastised me.
Beauty dwelt
Amidst a chorus of pain.
The sun turned dark,
Understanding grew dim.
Slow yet sure
-A tender raising.
His light touched me.
I danced a dance
Of thankfulness.
I found rest and solace.
My tired longing, eased.
His chastising?
The loving arm
Of a righteous Father.
