Pursue People- A Characteristic of Discipleship

“Pursue People”

Pursue people with love.
That’s what Jesus did.
From the aged and the elderly,
To the newborn and the kid.

Boy with hands on a top of a red paper heart

Jesus showed no bias,
From the sinner to the saint.
He loved them all with equal,
Strong-hearted to the faint.

He healed the lame and blind,
And calmed the wind and seas.
He spoke a lot in parables
About seeds and mustard trees

He taught us to go out,
To preach and share His love.
To keep our eyes on Him
Till He calls us from above.

There’s those that He pursues,
And a channel is what we are.
So, keep your heart wide open,
So that His love, it travels far.

Always remember mercy,
For it holds and lifts one up.
When one cup is found low,
Another’s fills it up.

We are not our own.
We were put here for a reason.
Let Jesus guide your heart
For His love’s always in season.

Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Comfort Zone:

How often do you step outside of your comfort zone? To reach others this must become a way of life. It may require a lot of effort on your part if that is the case, or it may come second nature to you. Keeping our focus on others is so important. It helps us to step outside of our self and look towards Christ.
