There is a rally, and it’s going down.
Between God and the devil; The lines are being drawn.
The battle is not new, it is quite old.
The Bible tells how the story unfolds.
There is a time, and it is now
To sharpen your blades and set the plow.
This life is short, so don’t delay
To live in hope, to light the way!
Envy, strife, and hate disperse.
They are signs of a way diverged.
From the true fruit of His Spirit moved.
In a life changed, a heart being proved.
Daily, we must increase intake
Of God’s Word
For life’s sake.

Mat 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.
Gal 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

This Christian poem came about in a bit of an odd way. I would try and call my sister and it seemed she was always busy watching a Trump rally during the evening. After one particular attempt to reach her, the line, “There is a rally and it’s going down between God and the devil, the lines are being drawn” was formed in my mind…the rest is history as far as this poem goes.
I mean, talk about a cosmic rally.
Well, that’s how this poem came to be.
Hope you enjoyed it.

P.S. In Matthew 7:15-7:20 Jesus is speaking about false prophets and how you will know them. “Do they gather grapes or thorns, or figs of thistles?” Note in Matthew 7:18 “A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.”
