The Void

“The Void”

We all need Jesus,
To fill that space.
He transcends creed,
He transcends race.

He fills the void
– That broken place.
That nothing heals
Till Him we face.

There is nothing
That can replace
The void He fills
With mercy’s grace.

He is a tender
And courting Lord,
Who uses Word
As His own Sword.

He longs to be
In the heart of you;
Be in every thought,
And every move.

He will empty
You of pain,
Forgive your sins,
And heal you shames.

He will fill
That void in you
With a new hope,
And joy anew.

Only ask
Him in your heart,
And He will give
You a new start.

You’ll find rest,
And you’ll find peace.
You’ll find a love
That doesn’t cease.

No more void
Will need be filled.
You’ll find your heart
He will rebuild.

Space with stars and a void in the center

He will walk with you,
He’ll be your mate.
You’ll no longer leave
It up to fate.

He’s with you now,
And He wants in.
His smile’s gentle,
(He wears a grin.)

So come forth now,
Place hand in His.
He’ll bring you life,
New ways to live.

He will not forsake,
Nor let you down.
He plans you good,
He plans you crowned.

He is the King,
And Lord of Lords.
Come lose the empty,
– He’ll fill the void.
