There is a God,
Jesus is the Lord.
You can tell a gentleman
By the way he acts.
These things I do believe,
Yes, to me they’re truth and fact.
You can ask creation,
Or ask the heavens up above,
For this God is not elusive
If you look for Him with love.
You may not see His power,
But it surrounds you now, don’t doubt.
And it will carry you to safety
When for a miracle you cry out.
You can go it alone, yes,
And some things may work out well.
But there is a bridge
That needs be crossed,
Cause we all from grace have fell.
Chaos will find its order
When to Jesus we dare look.
He will triumph and put to calm,
Not a one has He forsook.
So put your stubbornness to rest,
Yes, open up your eyes.
No big bang has ever happened;
Was God brought us to life.
Turn to Him while you still can,
There’s hope in store for you.
Jesus is knocking at your door;
A gentleman through, and through.
His ways alone are pure,
You’ll find no force from Him.
Only a gentle beckoning
For your soul to turn from sin.
He can wait you out,
Yes, patience is in His name.
But the time grows short
In your human life,
And it’s time that you be saved.
So take that leap, to hope’s green slope,
And know that there is more
On the other side of this earthly life
– Cry out to Him, implore!
The devil walks about,
A gentleman he’s not.
For he’s got time and God against him,
And with us, he is most fraught.
And don’t dare think, ignorance
Will ever bring you hope.
For if you’ve heard of Him,
You can’t say you didn’t know.
So consider yourself told
About the mercies of the Lord,
And be a gentleman,
No longer Him ignore.
The time is ripe
And the day at hand,
What could I tell you more?
Give a go at being gentleman,
And open up your door.

Psalm 19:1-3 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
1Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
