This Is He

This is He whose prose I see:
Oh, so mighty and wise He be.
Let no other be thought of highly.
Beloved, His eyes truly find thee.
Father, Son, Spirit mighty.

Who is truly, The Great Tried Tree;
Of Life, the Bread, Of who
Much has been said.

For He will, with a start,
Cause you to see His heart.
Perhaps not yet in you, true,
But could He, would He, be in you?

Of course He could, Of course He can;
Father, Spirit, Son of Man.
He looks high, and He looks low,
Finding ones His heart to know.
