The phrase, “and the truth,” is found four times in the KJV Bible
– Psalm 117:2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth forever. Praise ye the Lord.
–John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
– 1John 1:18 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
– 1John 2:4 He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
The man looked up, and said, how beautiful the ground is, so blue and vast!
-Some nod in agreement,
-While others are dumbfounded.
Another man plundered, and pillaged and thought he was doing a good thing;
-Some cheered him on,
Another man drank greedily from a spring. He said between mouthfuls.
-“This fire quenches my thirst!”
Perhaps if enough people agreed, we could change waters meaning to fire, and fires meaning to water. Now every time you think water say fire. That is what the world is telling you to do in so many different ways. Some blatant and some more subtle.
Is truth, in the eye of the beholder? Who are we, to question another’s truth?
The earth was formed from nothing, and we have evolved from apes.
(Or so some think)
Does truth become a lie when we don’t like its definition?
Has it been proven there is no God?
Who here on earth is the ultimate, decider of truth?
We go about making our own definitions.
We are a great and wise people!
Who is there to take us to task?
There is no God the fool hath said in his Heart.
( Psalm 14:1)
What do you say?
What book of definitions do you read and study?
Or do you make your own?
No lie is of the truth.
The truth can set you free!
I can tell you where I find my truth and my reason.
Truth will always remain a truth. A lie can be nothing but a lie.
