Waves of Mercy

Granules of sand
Being honed by the Sea.
We are the ones
Who are loved ones of Thee.

Such care you show!
Whilst even in deep depth.
As You hold us, keep us
Near at hands breadth.

Joy eternal is planned
And begins to unfold
As your waves of mercy
Doth continually roll.

They lap at the feet
Of sin and great strife.
Preparing those saved
For eternal life.

Stick figure on a beach with waves coming ashore

Your truth and redemption
Are to us all a raft,
As we step in with Jesus
And cling to Him fast.

Boldly we come
Unto the throne of your grace.
The wind whips our sails;
We continue the race.

With love we do fear you,
And honestly claim
Your promises true,
And alone by Thy name.

Keep us safe, dear Lord,
In the shelter of Thy wings.
For your mercy upholds us,
Whatever life brings.
